Up in the Skeye

Back in January of 2013 the weather was holding onto a snow and freezing rain mix. Much of the time was spent in doors unless shoveling so when I was invited to assist my good friends, Skeye I was struck with excitement. I packed my bags and took the next bus up state. As always a pleasure and honor to play/work with them I assisted with camera and lighting for their new song, the Better Part of Me. You can watch the full video below.

Did I mention I took some photos too? Yes, I took some shots. Unfortunately they were lost in the undercurrent of gigs and haven't resurfaced until now. I think I'll go through a second edit and start touching them up soon. Until then, enjoy the tunes and the view.

Lisa & a Softbox

While playing with some film noir ideas Lisa came by and we did a short shoot. I now have a better direction to aim for and an enticing story to tell. I also needed an excuse to play with my new toy, a 22" soft box but don't tell the beautiful Lisa that.
