Every Thursday from May to September, Can 1 Evening Race Association hosts a sailboat race off of Execution Rocks' can one. While crewing on Evelyn this 7th, we were saved the severe downpour which was forecasted throughout Western Long Island Sound. As our drizzle passed on and the clouds followed the rain, the sunset broke through exposing a sky of a golden yellow turning a dark blue.
